
Joy of joys the Filipino Jade vine (Strongylodon macrobotrys) is at last in full flower at Cooroy Gardens. What luck! Once seen never forgotten. It took an eternity (15 years) to hunt down, transplant, and coax into energetic growth.
Folk in the Philippines don't have that much trouble with their indigenous darling. And it runs amok in northern Queensland. In subtropical Noosa it took time to acclimatise. Still, here it is and I hope you enjoy it.
